History

Shree Gurukulam Educational Trust was formed and registered at Gobichettipalayam in the year 2005 with the prime motive of offering qualitative and futuristic education that would be affordable to all. As an initial step, the Trust established Shree Gurukulam Higher Secondary School as a State Board affiliated institution offering instruction in Tamil as well as English medium in the academic year 2005 – 2006. Since its inception the school has been witnessing a tremendous growth and remains to be a reminiscence of the ancient Gurukulam providing not only quality education but also imparting moral values. At present, it has classes from Standard VI to XII. In order to fulfill the need for those aspiring to have primary and secondary education in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum, the Trust has come forward to establish Shree Gurukulam Public School from the academic year 2017 – 18. To start with, the new school will have Kindergarten sections and Grades I to VIII in its maiden year of functioning.
